Linda Smith

Linda Smith, MBA, BSN, RN
Founder and President

Smith, a Registered Nurse for 35 years, combined her love of nursing, high standards of health care professionalism and a deep spiritual faith. She founded the first and only African-American owned, fully accredited vocational career college in California licensed to teach vocational nursing and other allied health care programs.

The institution has been recognized as an outstanding business by numerous agencies. Smith has been featured in Essence Magazine; she is a contributor to the book Creating Value through People: Discussions with Talent Leaders and she is the author of Love Letters to the Lord, released in June 2010.

Ernell Smith

Ernell Smith, BS
Executive Vice President

Smith holds the position of Vice President. Prior to his position with Four-D College, Smith was the owner/broker of an insurance agency, servicing policyholders throughout Southern California for a period of more than 28 years. In 1997 Smith joined Four-D College as Vice President, overseeing the day-to-day operations. Smith holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Aisha Thompson

Aisha Smith-Thompson, MBA, BA
Vice President of Business Development and Operations

Thompson began her career at Four-D College as a file clerk and relief receptionist in 1997 while pursuing her Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies, Pre-Credential Option at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

Upon receiving her degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, Thompson worked with the Ontario/Montclair Unified School District. Although her fondness for teaching was great, Thompson decided to continue her career with Four-D College.

Thompson received her Masters of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Thompson assumed the role of Executive Director of Friends of Four-D College, the non-profit arm of Four-D College, whose purpose is to provide educational outreach and community support services. She also assumed the role of Director of Operations of Four-D College, overseeing program and departmental directors and annual reports.

Thompson is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Higher Education at Claremont Graduate University. In May of 2008, Thompson was promoted to Vice President of Business Development and Operations at Four-D College.

Cheryl Jerzak

Cheryl Jerzak, BSHA, CMA (AAMA)
Director of Health Care Administration and Medical Assistant Programs

Jerzak became a medical assistant in October 1993. She has worked in the medical field as a phlebotomist, front office medical assistant, back office medical assistant, and billing and coding clerk in the South Bay area of Southern California. When Jerzak moved to the Inland Empire in 2001 she decided she wanted to teach medical assistants.

Since 2001 Jerzak has been providing the Inland Empire with quality medical assistants. Jerzak received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix in April 2010 in Healthcare Administration and has been putting that degree to work at Four-D College as the Medical Assistant Program Director for both the Colton and Victorville campuses since November 2009.

Jerzak has been a member of the American Association of Medical Assistants since 2001 and earned the title of CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) in 2002

Greg White

Greg White, MA, BA
Campus Director-Victorville

White holds a Master of Arts in Business Management from National University and has over 15 years of proprietary and non-profit Campus Management experience.

Prior to joining Four-D College, White held management positions at institutions such as Kelsey Jenney College, AESA and University of Phoenix in San Diego, as well as Cambridge College which is located in the Inland Empire.

Molly Douangphouxay

Molly Douangphouxay, BS
Director of Human Resources

Douangphouxay began her career with Four-D College as a Director of Human Resources in 2006. She graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona with a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Resources and Management. She is also a member of Society of Human Resources Management and California Chamber of Commerce.

Theophilus Rowe

Theophilus Rowe, BS
Director of Accounting

Rowe was educated in London School of Accountancy, England and graduated from Devry University with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting. He practiced accounting in Africa, England and now in the U.S.A.. Together he has 34 years of experience. He has experiences in administration and management for 26 years, financial accounting and practices for 32 years and managerial accounting for 16 years.

June Navarro

June N. Navarro, MBA, BS
Supervisor of Student Services

Navarro serves both the Colton and Victorville campuses. She is responsible for the Student Services Department, which includes assisting students with resources, emergency assistance, referrals, academic concerns, and personal issues on a daily basis. She is also responsible for graduation, the monthly newsletter “The Lamp,” Student Council Committee and Alumni Association.

Previously, she worked at Jobing.com as an Industry Manager/Employment Specialist, working with the non-profit and healthcare community. Navarro has a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources from Keller Graduate, Master Graduate from Rapport Leadership International, and is an alumnae of Alpha Sigma Sorority, now known as Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority. Navarro received her Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice from California State University, Los Angeles.

Linda Gallardo

Linda Gallardo
Registrar

After completing high school, Gallardo enrolled in San Bernardino Valley Community College where she studied Construction and Engineering. Her career with Four-D College began in 2008 as a data entry temporary hire and she has worked her way up to the position of Registrar. Currently she is studying Business Administration and working towards earning a Bachelors’ degree.

Margie Harris

Margie Harris, BSN, RN
Director of Career Development

Harris received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Far Eastern University in the Philippines in June 1977. After graduating she had the opportunity to work at Manila Sanitarium and Hospital, a Seventh Day Adventist Institution, for two years.

She migrated to the United States in February 1979. Prior to working for Four-D College she worked for Loma Linda University Medical Center and also with a home health agency. Harris joined Four-D College in March 1994.

Dale Sloan

Dale Sloan, AA
Director of Massage Therapy Program

Sloan serves as Director of the Massage Therapy program for both Four-D campuses. He has been a Massage Therapy Instructor at Four-D College since January 2009. Sloan graduated from Southern California School of Massage in 1998. Sloan worked at High Desert Medical Office from 1997-1999 as the lead massage therapist. At this time he also spent a year working and training at Burke Williams Spa in Pasadena. In August of 2000 he was employed at Chaparral Physical Therapy in Barstow and Victorville. Sloan continued his education in massage school and served as one of the lead massage therapists at Chaparral until 2009.

In May 2007 Sloan received his Associates of Social Science at Barstow Community College. He then enrolled at Azusa Pacific University where he is currently completing his Masters of Divinity. Sloan was also ordained as a minister in the Free Methodist Conference of Southern California in 2009. He is currently associate pastor at Hinkley House of Faith. Sloan still continues his education in massage by taking massage classes through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB).

Jean Stevenson

Jean Stevenson, MHA, BSN, RN
Director of Nursing Education

Jean Stevenson has been the Director of Nursing Education at Four-D College since October 1999. She also served as the Director of Nursing for the Victorville campus for three years. She is a native of Pine Bluff, Arkansas where she completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (formerly AM&N College). After relocating to Riverside, CA she completed her Registered Nursing training at Riverside Community College and her Master of Health Administration from the University of La Verne.

Ms. Stevenson worked as a staff nurse and nurse educator at Riverside Community Hospital for 15 years before entering into nursing education at a private school in 1992. She has also taught nursing in the community college setting.

Ms. Stevenson is a member of California Vocational Nurse Educators, Association of California Directors of Vocational Nursing, and National League for Nursing, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and attends Harvest Christian Fellowship Church in Riverside, CA.
